CCUFSA Awards
This award is the highest honour CCUFSA bestows. Recipients
are selected based on their contributions to the food services
industry.
This
award is presented to a deserving CCUFSA member based upon
outstanding contribution to the organization.
This
award acknowledges teams who demonstrate outstanding dining,
hospitality service, and teamwork to reach a major accomplishment,
enhance the food service business, or improve the quality
of campus life. The team will have gone beyond their
regular duties and responsibilities, going the extra mile
to meet the needs of the business or campus community.
CCUFSA
Grants & Scholarships
This
award is designed to help promote and develop the culinary
skills of the CCUFSA membership. The grant will cover
the cost of registration, course materials, accommodations and meals to a maximum of $1,500 (Canadian), for the
16th annual Culinary Conference hosted by the University of Massachusetts,
June 6 - 11, 2010.
This
scholarship is designed for institutional members and their
respective individual members to attend the Hospitality Manager's
Development Course (HMDC) at The University of Guelph. This
program is designed for up and coming managers in the hospitality
and tourism industry.
Shirley
Louie Award for Excellence
Named after the late Shirley Louie
(CCUFSA President 1993-94), this award is presented to an outstanding
student enrolled in a Food Service Management program at a number
of colleges and universities across Canada.
